The rich environmental aspects of Home Farm include:
  • ponds - 25 of the 28 dragon flies in Bedfordshire have been identified at Cow Pond
  • new hedges - as well as the original hedgerows
  • birds - nesting buzzards, skylarks, waterfowl, hedgerow birds and game
  • wildflowers - including cowslips on FirTree Hill and primroses & bluebells in Snakes Wood
  • trees - the original estate trees with 300 year old Planes & Oaks along with new plantings
